THE PARISH PLAN
In 2010, a questionnaire was delivered to all households in Cassop-cum-Quarrington Parish, to help prepare the Parish Council’s Parish Plan. A large number of suggestions came back in residents’ replies.
In March 2011, Ken Hazelwood, of the Durham Rural Community Council, on behalf of the Parish Council, asked residents to say which of these suggestions were the most important. At consultation events at Bowburn and Cassop Community Centres, they were asked to say which TEN “options for action” they thought should be given highest priority.
